You don't know what you're talkng about. When the magazines, the media, the propoganda say that it's okay to be fat, this will not be America. Although, America is the 'fattest country in the world,' it will never be accepted by media until culture decides to shift again. Skinny is popular because it's something that is difficult to achieve, it is not seen often, and it appears desireable because people with money, power, goals are skinny...as propoganda would like you to believe. During the 1300s it was in the be plump because that meant you had the money and power to eat when and what you wanted and you didn't do any work to become skinny. People, today, with energy and success are skinny because they appear to always be moving and always be busy. No one wants to be around someone that wants to sit around all say...as the media will advertise, of course.
Whoever says they will not read a magazine until it says that it's okay for people to be fat is oblivious and okay with being oblivious to the world. Being accepted is something everyone fights for, skinny or not, and if one can't accept that they're going to have to work to be 'in' then they are kidding themselves. The world is cruel and selfish. As much as I would like to say everyone has love for one another and how each and everyone looks, it just isn't true and never will be. Either accept that the media is never going to be okay with how a normal human looks, or don't even think about it at all. Why waste your energy on creating an opinion on something that is meant to influence you yet doesn't need to concern you? You're one of the reasons they make so much money.

its just the whole thing like what is the culture today.
like yeah, back in like hmmm up until like the 1800s people thought it was hot to be fat. and double chins were like the sexiest thing ever. and in egypt, the most beautiful women were the palest women, also the women would melt wax in their hair for the aroma it gives off. its all just culture. it all changes. im not sure if being skinny will ever go out, because today life is so rushed and fast paced. like they invented the computer and all this stuff so we would have more time to do leisure activities and hobbies, not for it to actually be a hobby. its just whats "in."
