A road trip to Buffalo Exchange lead to a detour, vintage sunglasses, and an endless amount of indie songs.
Buffalo Exchange was the one of the, if not THE, first thrift shops in the United States. It was a resale shop in, I believe, Tennessee, and was named Buffalo by a Swedish sister in the family that owned it because she believed the word sounded very American. Then Exchange because it was an exchange of clothes for either clothes or cash. It is now in Dallas, Texas, and Heather and I have enjoyed the privilege over and over again of exchanging clothes for our favourite vintage looks.
